Photos of The National War and Resistance Museum at Overloon
One of the last battles of WWII. and one of the fiercest, was fought at Overloon, located in a narrow strip of land between Eindhoven and Arnhem that had been liberated during Operation Market Garden.  After a failed attempt by American troops, British forces finally defeated a German Panzer unit at great cost in men and tanks.  This museum was established at the site of the tank battle and much of the equipment displayed on the grounds was used in the battle.
